    Peter working hard!

    Peter working hard!

Let me start by saying do not be concerned at what appears to be a stationary £130k figure on Stewart’s board. Commitment is still arriving, perhaps more in pledges than hard cheques. It is now obvious some people are not in a position to deliver their money by the Saturday deadline. Coupled with that a number of people have intimated that they may be prepared to add to what they have initially invested while others I have spoken to today have just left it till the very end. I knew this process was going to be exciting!

For my part I have now run out of time this week & have to go back for a few days work so cannot follow up on all I would like to. However during the early part of next week I will get back on to those ten or more enquirers who have either been in touch or have spoken to Stewart or others in the team…please be patient.

Having said all of that I guess the simple truth is we are still doing rather well! Keeping it simple today I can say in house tonight 11pm we currently have £138,550. But to accompany that there are pledges that I have no doubt will be honoured of over £22k (including good old Dr Karl in the US who’s money is crossing the Atlantic as I write). As well as that I know of a considerable number of other more local cheques en-route whose total I have no idea about. Then we need to add all those good people who are prepared to dig a bit deeper. The simple answer is frankly it is too close to call at the moment & we will have to look at where we are say Sunday or Monday.

I have asked Stewart to update the board when we kick through known £10k points. Thus Stewart board will only reflect what we have in house – not pledges- so will always under state.

With 3 days to go if you have not done so yet: Either complete your application & put your cheque through my door @ The Corral or get on line through Microgenius to invest. Nobody using Microgenius appears to be charged more than £2 for that electronic service & if we do not succeed and draw it down it will cost absolutely nothing! If you have already invested & want to add more you can do that automatically on line just adding to your account or if using the manual system a cheque through my door with another form or a signed note & I will link it with your original registration.

I will cobble something together on Sunday night by way of a brief report with a more detailed breakdown later next week. Finger toes & other bits crossed we will all make it!

One last amazing point there are now more than 110 of us – we are getting quite large!
