Traditional pub lunches and evening dinners, Sunday roasts, a quick snack, children's dishes, and something a little bit special. We cater for all, with home cooked food prepared with care.
We have a range of local traditional beers, lager from local and nationally known producers and an interesting wine list. We also have soft drinks and teas & coffees.
We have a wonderful garden, with tables and space for children to play. Inside, we have a new front bar, a smaller back room, and an airy dining room. We welcome children accompanied by responsible adults. Dogs on leads are allowed in the bar area, but not the dining room.
The Case is home to a variety of regular and special events: crib teams, craft group, book group, quiz nights.
The Case is Altered is owned by a community cooperative of over 200 members. We bought The Case in February 2014, re-opened in April 2014 with volunteers performing all the jobs.
In May 2015 we recruited staff for kitchen and bar management. Volunteers continue to be at the heart of our operations, working behind the bar, as well as maintaining the building and garden.
