Latest pub interior with transparent screens around the bar

We are pleased to announce that as of Friday 21 May we will be opening the inside of the Case to the public for the first time since 4 November when we closed for the second time due to the Coronavirus lockdowns. We have been open for quite some time using the outside garden area but we know many of you would prefer to be inside when visiting us. Of course the garden will still be available for patrons to use if they wish. It will be table service both inside and out.

We have now decided to extend our current opening times and as from this Friday these will now be:

    Opening times:

    Friday – 6.00 – 10 pm
    Saturday – 6.00 – 10 pm
    Sunday – 12.00 – 3.00 pm

    Dolly’s Pizza Van:

To celebrate the reopening of the inside of the pub and our extended hours, Dolly’s Pizza Van will be visiting our car park on Saturday 22 May, between 5pm and 8pm. Pizzas must be pre-ordered to minimize queuing. The pub will be open from 5pm (only for this date) so you will be able to enjoy a drink with your pizza. See Dolly’s Facebook page or go to the Bentley (in Suffolk) Community Facebook Page for even more information.

    All pizzas £6
    Gluten free and vegan available.
To pre order call 07856070123 (Pre order early as last time Dolly sold out!)

We are looking forward to seeing you but as you will be aware, due to Covid-19 restrictions there are still some Government regulations in place regarding customers entering the inside of hospitality venues selling alcohol.

In accordance with Government regulations, we must ensure all customers:

    • have complied with the Track and Trace requirements, either using the NHS QR code or signing in manually

    • are wearing a face covering when not seated at a table

    • place their orders via table service

    • only consume food or drink while seated, even when outdoors

    • are seated in groups of a maximum of 6 or 2 families

To further protect our customers and volunteers the Case will also be retaining the following additional safeguarding measures we put in place last year:

    • the screen around the bar

    • customers will be unable to sit at the bar

    • visual reminders for customers and volunteers to maintain a safe social distance

    • contactless payments preferred (No change given if cash is offered)

    • hand sanitizer and cleaning stations around the pub

    • full ventilation (inline with Government guidelines)

    • a one way system, when inside the pub

    • over 18s only, inside the pub

Our utmost concern is for the safety of all customers and volunteers, so with this in mind we intend to keep these additional safety measures in place for as long as necessary or longer if they help to boost the confidence of our volunteers and customers.

We hope to see you soon.
