10th Anniversary
17th April 2024
On Wednesday 17th April 2024 we will be celebrating 10 years since we first opened our doors as a community owned pub and started trading as Bentley Community Pub Limited. In fact the Case was the first co-operative pub in Suffolk.
We think Bentley should be proud of the Case's important status amongst community and cooperative pubs in Suffolk. The EADT Suffolk Magazine certainly thinks so and they will be running a feature on us over the next few months. They also thought we should be very proud of our volunteers and we would certainly like to thank all our volunteers for their hard work over the last 10 years. A huge thank you in particular should go out to those who were instrumental during those early days for master minding the fundraising and business plan that enabled Bentley to keep its only pub – it could so easily have gone the way of so many rural public houses and have been converted into a private dwelling.
So why not pop along to the Case today and raise a glass to all those who made this all possible. We will be open at 1pm to take a 10th anniversary photo of all our supporters and we will open again at 6pm as usual. Cheers !!
