This year our annual MacMillan Coffee Morning is being held on Saturday 26th September, starting 10am. This well established popular event is always well attended and has been running for many years now. Over the years, it has raised many thousands of pounds for the Macmillan Cancer Care charity. As always cake donations on the morning are very much welcomed and greatly appreciated; these can be dropped off at the pub from 9am on the day.
As well as cakes and savouries, there will be tea and coffee, and the bar will be open from 10am to 1pm, re-opening as usual Saturday evening, 6pm – 10pm. You can buy cakes to take home for later, and there’s a chance to win a luxury hamper.

On Monday 31st August (Bank Holiday Monday) we are inviting back one of our favourite entertainers Robbie Gladwell and friends. Music will start around 3pm. As always the pub will be open from 12pm. There will also be a BBQ from 1pm.

On Saturday 19th September we are welcoming Dave Williams to the Case for his first solo appearance. David is a popular, up and coming, young local singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has previously supported other acts at the pub and is a regular at our Open Mic Nights but this time will be doing a solo…
Regular group meeting to discuss the books the group are reading and to extend the range of genres and authors they are familiar with. The book group can usually arrange loan books through the county library, so you don’t have to buy every book ! For more information just come along to any meeting.
