The Case is Altered is owned by a community cooperative of over 200 members.

Volunteers are at the heart of all our operations, both serving behind the bar and on a myriad of behind the scenes activities.

Bar

We offer a wide range of drinks including a regularly changing selection of guest cask ales. We also have a collection of low/no alcohol drinks on offer, including hot drinks.

We don't do food on a regular basis but stock a variety of bar snacks such as crisps, peanuts and savoury biscuits. We also arrange visits from specialist mobile food vendors, ... More

Pub and Garden

It's autumn now but you can still enjoy warm, dry days over a drink with friends in our attractive garden. Inside the pub, dogs on leads are allowed in the bar areas.

The Case is home to a variety of activities: book group, games nights, quiz nights, open mics and other special events. Check our event calendars and news pages for what's coming up.
