This year our annual MacMillan Coffee Morning is being held on Saturday 27th September, starting 10am. This well established popular event is always well attended and has been running for many years now. Over the years, it has raised many thousands of pounds for the Macmillan Cancer Care charity. As always cake donations on the morning are very much welcomed and greatly appreciated; these can be dropped off at the pub from 9am on the day.
As well as cakes and savouries, there will be tea and coffee, and the bar will be open from 10am to 1pm, re-opening as usual Saturday evening, 6pm – 10pm. You can buy cakes to take home for later, and there’s a chance to win a luxury hamper.
UPDATE 8/10/25: Following an extra last minute donation, this event raised a fantastic total of £2,000 for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
