The Case has a new exhibition of artwork displayed on its walls for the next few months. These are all the creations of local artist Craig Whale. A small selection of the pieces are shown below. Click on images for a larger view.
Six years ago Craig closed his art studio as he found he could no longer paint using traditional techniques due to poor health. However he was able to create artwork digitally using a drawing panel and stylus. Although he can no longer physically walk through the beauty of rural nature to observe it, he uses his imagination to stroll through fantastical landscapes and these artworks recreate what he sees in his minds eye. All pieces are for sale, see the attached labels.
In the future, if you would like to show your artwork or photography we would be pleased to include it in one of our exhibitions. All work must be framed (except canvases) and be able to be wall hung. Contact chair@thecasepubbentley.co.uk for further information.
UPDATE 1/11/2025: It’s now time to change the artwork displayed at the Case. Many thanks to Craig for sharing his work with us over the last 6 months. A new exhibition will be mounted this weekend. More info to come in due course …
