The final total collected by the pub for the Alzheimer’s Society, our Charity of the Year 2024/5, was £5,177.09. In addition, the late Peter Day, Case volunteer and long standing member of the Bentley community, generated a further £2,817.13 through his half marathon sponsored walk in August 2024 together with his subsequent funeral donations. The grand total of these charitable donations to Alzheimers was therefore £7,994.22.
On Saturday 21st June 2025, a local representative for Alzheimers met with key members of the pub’s charity fund raising team for 2024/5 to mark this achievement, see below.
