What a week! As you will see below the flow of money from investors has now significantly increased this week. In round terms another £20k has arrived this week which Stewart is trying to keep up with on his new tracker board outside The Case. Most exciting is that we have our second £10k investor who looks forward to recovering £3k from HMRC after July next year under the EIS scheme. If anyone is still not clear about how that works do ring me Mon to Wed on 01473 310410 to discuss.

Our total on Microgenius has been updated today with £26,250 of offline investments, which includes the £5,750 we received last week.

So on to the figures by combining the two registers: We currently have 70 investors who have between them lodged £99,550, making an average investment of £1,422.

    Wk3                 This Week

    £10k+ nil

    £10k                    1                      2

    £5000                  4                      5

    £4000                  1                      1

    £3000                  2                      2

    £2000-2500          5                      6

    £1000                 15                    18

    £500                   13                    18

    £250-300             12                    18

Although we have another £10k investor on board we need more – perhaps even a person who expects to pay £6k this year in Income Tax, who by investing £20k could be claiming it back next year! No matter the size all investors from wherever are welcome. So let me welcome our first new friends & investors from from overseas – Andrea & Michael from Germany, with whom I am looking forward to sharing a few drinks next summer in The Case. They kindly wrote, ‘We have read your business plan and we’re convinced that this venture will succeed. We wish you and the whole group of involved people all the best for the next steps and challenges to come’

    More next week-or maybe sooner……

    Peter Cross – Treasurer
